Gone Fishin

I so like this little teddy bear fisherman. I stamped fish on white CS & ran it through my cuttlebug using the bubbles embossing folder for the background. Stamped & hung the sign using a little rope & a brad.

Embossed Impressions

These 2 cards were both done using my Cuttlebug, I so like that little machine. The one on the left I inked the bird swirl embossing folder, ran it through CB, then colored the birds & branches with my Prisma color pencils & added a bit of glitter to the birds. My little bench on the right is a brass stencil that I ran through my CB & colored using pearlesant chalks. I'm thrilled to be able to get deep impressions with my brass stencils using my CB.

Reflective Table

I had to share this one as the table is made from reflective tape which gives it a little dimension. I'd received an Otaganol shaped card in a Geometric swap, edged with this same tape & I really liked it but didn't know what had been used. When I asked Betty, she told me her hubby said her card reminded him of a stop sign (men....) & she should edge it with the reflective tape he had on hand in his shop. She shared some with me & this is one use I found for it so far. I wonder what else I can come up with.

Another Idea from Hero Arts

These 2 cards I made yesterday, I got this idea from Hero Arts, one of my favorite sites to visit. It took a few tries to get my dimensions to fit & they still aren't perfect, something I still have to work on but I did have fun doing them. My puppy Patches, got the first one that turned out pretty good & chewed a pretty good hole through the front of it.

Birthday Tag in Pocket

I got this idea from the Hero Arts website but instead of using the corner from an envelope I folded the edges of a triangular piece of pattern paper to make a pocket. Using my scalloped oval punch I made a Happy Birthday tag to tuck inside. I was in a rush to get this card mailed & forgot to get a pic or scan of it - So I'm thanking Cindy for doing this for me.

Shadow Stamps & Vellum

Today I played around with my shadow stamps from Hero Arts, I've had them for ages & some of them have never been inked. The backgrounds were done inking the stamp with pale lavender & then I dry embossed, using my cuttlebug. I stamped the foreground flowers with Versa Mark on Vellum, emossed in white & colored on the back. I really like the look of using shadow stamps & dry embossing with my cuttlebug folders.

These are my cowgirls that I've done for a swap - it's been awhile since I've played with my horse stamps & I had fun doing them.

The 2 cards on the left were emossed in white on vellum & colored with markers on the back, that is Marlon in the background trying to eat my flowers. The 2 on the right were emossed in black & on dark blue/black & colored with pearl ex.

These are 4 of my only Criss Cross cards that I've done for a swap I'm in. I got the pattern for these cards from Splitcoast Stampers. I enjoyed doing these ones as I got to mix & match pattern papers with cards stock.

Cherry Blossoms & Snow Capped Mountains

I thought this view from our back yard was worth sharing, seeing the snow capped mountains & cherry blossoms all at once was just too pretty.

This is one I call the simple life - I made it for a friend & his dog who are moving back to our small town & I wanted to welcome him back. His #1 passion is fishing & he shares his catches with friends, yummy.

Well this is the Birthday card I did today, ok I'll admit this one has a lot of bling but it is for a sweet 16th birthday & if we can remember that far back we remember just how special it was & I really wanted it to sparkle.
